i cannot get rid of cough...check

all i can say is i miss my computer it has been out of commission for about a month or so and i have had it at a repair shop for this long which is getting really old... i hate computers only because i don't know enough about them and i can't seem to live without it. i have a huge amount of pictures to load up and I am trying to patiently wait to load them on my computer one day. and the other thing i miss is a dishwasher...its really not so bad i have a good system down, but i have a big belly and each day it gets harder and harder to be on my feet for very long. This pregnancy hasn't been an easy one and so i really could use a dishwasher... one can dream right?!? my house will be three years old this July and we are on dishwasher #2...weird eh or just annoying!

We had a great Valentines day and I hope to be able to put some pic's up soon about it. Anyway this explains a bit about what I have been struggling with these days.
I hate to vent and I usually end up venting on the blogger so sorry boring post.

I have a hard time in January... the month is dreary and the weather lately hasn't been great we need snow to play in or something. So I try to keep the kids busy and me busy to get through each day, and some days when im feeling really energetic and up to it we do fun stuff...

Trevor's 4th bday!

My little boy is now 4 years old! We had an awesome day celebrating his birthday and I think he loved every bit of it. Before he woke up in the morning Jacob brought in 20 balloons to fill his ceiling when he woke up and as Jake was putting them in his room he woke up and was so excited about all of the balloons, i was in the other room and could hear him say "whoa! dad! look at all of the balloons!" He was then naming all of the colors of them, and then he brought a purple one in to Allie and gave it to her which i thought was super sweet. I love how such a simple thing like balloons can make a kids day. Then downstairs we had a happy birthday sign up for him which he loved and read all of the letters on it to me. He is a funny kid. After breakfast we got ready to go to the lehi indoor pool. Trevor loves swimming and had a blast at the pool, he is such a busy boy the picture below is my pathetic effort of documenting the swimming fun. After that we all went home for a nice long nap and got up and went to the "big toy store" toys r us and let trevor pick out his gift, which i don't think we will do that again... it took him about 45 minutes to pick something and ended up with a trailer truck lol! he had a good time looking at all of the toys though so it was worth the wait. After that we went to brick over for some good old pizza which we all loved and then went back home to have all of the family over for a party! Trevor got spoiled from all of his aunties, and uncles, and grandparents so thanks everyone! He loved his cake and couldn't stop talking about birthday cake all week and for some random reason he wanted a boat on his cake so my sister Jenny busted out a boat for me on the top of his cake, thanks Jenny! All and all i'd say it was a very successful day and i was one tired Momma after it all, and sorry for the lack of pictures it was hard to catch the little dude! I will be doing his 4 year old photo shoot soon and get those on here.

dear snow we are so happy you decided to grace us with your presence this year. it was lovely having you for a day or two and we hope to see more of you on these long January days. Yes we finally got some snow the very day after Jacob decided to set up our brand new trampoline... perhaps he will hear my little voice next time saying we should wait.... or probably not. The kids woke up Saturday morning so excited to go play in the 2 inches of snow we got they could barely eat breakfast. Then 45 minutes later after finding, dressing, bundling the munchkins we went out. I tried to play and help them build a snowman which i failed at miserably due to a growing belly it got rather tiresome rather fast, and i had a wonderful galloping dog that seeming to love trotting over every start of of snowman i could get going. So in essence the kids were done after about 10 minutes. Making me a very tired worn out Mommy who was missing daddy at this very moment. We went in had some treats and watched a movie until daddy came home. Oh how everything is so much better when daddy is home. Literally so much better! We love daddy and we have loved having him home so much during the holiday break, I am so depressed about him starting school again today what will i do? He is the life and light of our little family. Our poor kids mom is so boring. lol! Anyway daddy came home took them out built an awesome snowman, which toppled over before i snapped a pic... and bounced them around on the trampoline so they were so tuckered out by the time they came in they had nice long naps allowing mommy to watch a chick flicka and get a project done. yay for daddy yet again! Anyway here are picture of the snowy event.

Progress report. I am officially half way there!!!! here is my 20 week baby bump. I need a tan.... bad! This pregnancy so far has been much different than my first two. I have been much more sick and nauseated and can't seem to get feeling good. I do have some good days in between the really sick ones so at least the laundry is getting done on those days. I haven't had any weird cravings with this baby so far, i do like food though when i am well enough to eat i eat a lot. I lost 15 pounds at the beginning and now i am finally starting to gain a bit. I felt the baby move around a bit yesterday for the first time and that was cool, it actually hit me that i will have another little baby in months to come. I also realized how not ready for this baby i am and that i need to get with it and get ready. Trevor and Allie seem to kinda get that i have a baby in my tummy, but im sure they will understand better the bigger my tummy gets, I tell Trevor i have a baby girl in my tummy and he says he has a baby boy in his lol. Anyway we are getting excited to meet our baby girl and I hope i start feeling good before i get huge and miserable.

Christmas recap 2011

We had a great Christmas this year! Santa came and brought lots of gifts and treats and it was all fun. I loved watching the kids open their gifts and get so excited, Trevor's favorite gift was his hot wheels track, and allie loved the dolly she got from Grandma Wright. The kids got spoiled this year from all the grandma's and aunties, so thank you everyone it was such a fun year for us all! We were able to go to church and enjoy the Christmas program and feel of the spirit and the true meaning of the holiday. It was a great year and now we just need some snow. ;)

Today started out to be a depressing day I keep having them and then I realized my poor Trevor we haven't spent any one on one time for a while and I miss that one on one time with him. It's been a hard bit I had been sick so much and exhausted the other part that I wanted to do something with my buddy. So just Trevor and I went to the store and we took miss Allie to Grandma's house. We had some good conversations on the way to the store and this one was my favorite!
Mom "Trevor what do you want for Christmas?"
Trevor: "A Christmas truck"
Mom: "what is a Christmas truck?"
Trevor: "a black one"
Mom: "cool you want a black truck huh?"
Trevor: "yeah with bad guys"
Mom: "What kind of bad guys buddy?"

Mom: "oh, what else do you want?"
Trevor: "ummmm.... a white trailer with a green cart."
Mom: "wow a white trailer huh."
Trevor: "yeah and just a train set on a table."
Mom: "i have to tell santa for you okay."

I had to write this conversation down especially because it made my day just talking to my kid, and because my memory is non existent and i will definitely want to read this again one day. Man i love that kid! When we got home I had to do a photo shoot for a new born and we were in the living room and Trevor was busy and came in with ski goggles on that gave us all a good laugh! he played with his fire trucks making all the appropriate siren noises to go along, and found a wrapping paper tube and sang songs through it. this was all happening while i was in the front room we could hear all this from the family room. He is such a happy boy and i am so lucky to have him, and my clients got some free entertainment! lol! Anyway here are some pic's i forgot to post of the kids decorating our tree. Poor jake searched high and low for the perfect tree, even walked through water...twice and it turned out to be well a perfect charlie brown tree. It doesn't matter tho the kids loved decorating it and we will always remember the adventure this was!

On Saturday we went to the Wright Family Christmas party, we had some delicious soup, rolls and tons of family around. The kids sang some songs to us, and then with an awesome surprise for the kids Santa came! Trevor and Allie loved Santa! I can't believe that Allie didn't even cry when we gave her to Santa! She even smiled a little. Trevor says he told Santa that he wants a cool Christmas truck! lol he is such a goof.

I hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgiving! We did, I was feeling pretty okay the day of and got to enjoy some food for once! Later i lost most of it but hey is was good while it lasted. =) Since then I have slowly been getting better and feeling much better, now i just have pregnancy issues I am dealing with which is better than that and flu and other sickness issues on top. I am still nauseated in the morning but I have been getting through it yay! I can eat and drink food and water again yay!!!! I am now 16 weeks along and my belly is popping out super far already its weird! We are excited to get ready for Christmas and I just hope i can get my energy and spirits more and more up every day! On our way home from dinner on thanksgiving we saw this mater truck by target so we stopped by and took a pic by it, cool huh!

Last Saturday we went on an adventure with my sister Kat and her husband Russ to go chop down our very own Christmas tree. It was an adventure to be sure! Jake fell in some water knee deep not once but twice and thankfully his toes are alive and well. =) the kids loved the snow for about oh 15 minutes and then were done, so we hung out in the car while Jake and uncle Russ went out and got our tree. It was fun and crazy and very memorable for us. I will post pic's of our tree if i every get the energy to decorate it .... i am pathetic i know! anyway here are some pic's from the trip.

Well i haven't posted much for our memories this year for Halloween or much else. I have been feeling completely miserable and i have had one thing after another hit, from hospital iv fluids, to the flu, to some sinus cold thing, so not being able to eat or drink or i will throw up, and i have lost so much weight i weigh less than i did in high school.... um not so hot. and i have never ever been so sick in my life and i am prego on top of it all so im sure that is why i am so sick and down. Anyway I wish i had more happy things to report but unfortunately i don't right now, today has been a good day i went to the store for the first time in 3 weeks ahhh! it was a challenge seeing all the food and the meat section wasn't cool so thankfully i had my mommy there to drive us home and help me load the groceries in the house. I have been so blessed with so much help from family, and neighbors and ward members it has been so amazing! I just hate being the invalid and so broken down and dependent on others, but maybe that is what i need to learn because its still hard asking for help! Anyway i am 14 weeks along, so i am out of the first trimester and still sick as a dog i hope and pray i will get to enjoy thanksgiving food this year!!! but this is the report for us as of late. My kids are doing great considering how things have been, and my poor husband Jake has been super dad for the last few months and probably is going crazy, but he would never let me know it because he is so amazing and i would be lost without him and his strength! And things are hopefully going to get better for me each day! I'll just get going with some pic's and updating so when i look back on my blog i won't wonder what happened to my kids. =)

sorry my blog has been my outlet lately i promise i am not all depressing. Yesterday i went to the hospital to get to iv fluids and antibiotics because i have been sick since surgery, it started out as what i thought to be a flu bug with non stop vomiting and crap. Well Tuesday night i finally had enough of the poopy feeling (two weeks now) and went to instacare.... they are retards, so the next morning i went to my general dr. and he unfortunately didn't help me either and sent me to the ob well i couldn't get into the ob right away so i called his nurse and whined and complained until finally... finally she was nice and normal and said "basically no one has done anything for you and you are miserable..right?" yes!!! Finally someone is listening i went in and long behold i have another yet another or the same freaking UTI that i have had since JULY people the whole reason i had surgery was to clear this problem and my nurse is telling me i still have one and its bad and it is making me extremely sick and i am dehydrated and i am exhausted, pregnant a mommy with two darling toddlers who probably don't remember a day when mommy wasn't laying on the couch, floor, or bed. I know its a complete joke and after surgery my dr. never put me on any antibiotics because i am prego... hmmmm... i should have known back then to go straight to my ob but i am retarded and have suffered greatly then my bishop stops by last night just after i get home from the hospital and he is chewing me out for not calling him because he is a Dr. too, but really i don't wanna bug my bishop so yeah that was fun. so basically i feel like i have been put in a washing machine and am hanging out to dry now. lol i am finally starting to feel somewhat stable hey i can stand today without wanting to puke and my fever is down and i can hold my baby allie so things are looking up and i have an excellent nurse that i can now call and whine at if im not better she will take care of me and my bishop who is a Dr. i will call next time too. So may lessons have been learned and it has been insane so lets just hope i feel better soon! what does it even feel like to be totally healthy i can't remember lol!!! anyway that felt better to vent. im happy now.

update on my surgery

First of all saw this pic on pinterest and laughed hysterically at this, i am pathetic i know but i totally want to find that for my cat!

I blog mostly for myself I used to partly for my parents because they lived far away but now they live close and now its just serving as a family log sort of thing and i hope to print it out at the end of the year and it will be our "scrapbook" so i want to share my experience with the surgery i had last tuesday and the drama. lol! Surgery went well, the hospital staff was pretty cool and it was all same day so i went to the hospital and got home all in one day. We checked in and they took a urine test and some blood procedure stuff then i get to my room and hang out waiting for the dr. to come and give me the low down and the nurse came in and took some blood which was weird. Then a while later another nurse came in and said well Stephanie you are pregnant! okay... not expecting that one, so instantly i am feeling super concerned and worried because a week earlier i had a ct scan and at that time they said i wasn't pregnant... so because of this i had to decide if i wanted to go ahead with surgery and was freaking out about the ct scan. so i have this crazy thing inside my bladder causing lots of pain and i have had it for quite some time now so i went in that day totally excited and anxious to get rid of this problem and now i am facing whether or not to live with it for 9 more months. i instantly start balling.. (prego lady hormones and stress im sure.) and luckily my husband has his head on straight because i was freaking out. Jake tells me its not a choice its more important to have a happy healthy mommy to take care of the kids we have and a future kiddo, so we decide ok lets do surgery. well they couldn't put me completely under because i could contract and lose the baby while i was under so it was higher risk for that option so they had to do a spinal anesthesia which is similar to an epidural. well i hate the epidural i have had two and they really aren't so bad but i am the kind of person that needs to mentally prepare for these kinds of things and i was not prepared to be fully conscious while they were cutting stuff out of me in a strange surgical room so... i am stressed trying my best to be calm and collected. we get into the surgery room and i had to leave my Jacob behind and here i am bending over waiting for this spinal needle to hit and oh wait the Dr. was having an "off" day and ended up poking me several times, i am not totally sure how many times i for sure remember 6 and I have like 10 holes in my spine, i remember one try hit bone (spine) yeah that was pleasant! So i am balling because its like having 6 epidurals and no husband there to comfort me and hold me talk about crappy and uncomfortable, finally surgery is under way the dr. gave me something to make me sleepy thank heavens because i was shaking like crazy at this point, and i was done about an hour later. When all the drugs wore off i had the worst pain occur in my life and they had to dope me up with more drugs because it hurt so bad and they put a stint in. The dr. tells us well 8 out of 10 people don't feel the stint and 2 out of 10 cant stand it.. i knew i would be one of those 2! well i was and i have been dying of pain and discomfort and finally got the stint removed and i am feeling much better just totally wiped out and was not planning on any of this and i did not expect it to be near as emotional painful, stressful and hard has it was and has been. I have learned to be patient because i have had to rely heavily on Jacob doing EVERYTHING poor guy and my parents, sisters, friends, and ward have saved us by feeding us and babysitting and yelling at me to rest. its been one crazy roller coaster and one crazy experience i hope to never relive! and they did pull out 21 stones and that was crazy and it is official i am pregnant about 6 weeks along so i hope and pray i don't lose this baby from all of this stress and crazy drugs and everything, we were semi planning a baby but obviously not expecting it quite yet. So good and crazy week and I am happy to report i am feeling much better each day and totally appreciate everyone's help and prayers! below is a pic of the stones ewwww gross i know right! haha so what am i supposed to do with these? the guy nurses were teasing me and telling me to make a baby rattle with them, they found it so funny that i was pregnant!

Anyway hopefully things will continue to get better and that I will feel back to 100% soon!

On Wednesday morning I took my kiddos up to Sundance and my Mommy came along too. I wanted to see how the leaves were coming and I am sad to say they are not changing yet which worries me that they are all going to die. Last year we didn't get very vibrant colors and what colors we did get didn't last very long, so I have been hopeful for this fall, I am still keeping my fingers crossed mostly because I love fall colors, i love the smell, the change of season, the weather, I love everything about fall!! anyway the kids had fun running around like crazy and i snapped some pic's while we were there. It was only 57 degrees up there tho! ah cold! After running around Grandma bought us all a sucker you know those yummie suckers that you can get at brick oven ohhhh i love them! I had an amazing birthday! When we got home my sisters brought me yummie cafe rio for lunch and hung out with me for a while, poor Jake had school so we will have to go out later this week. Jacob gave me a wedding band for my birthday and our upcoming anniversary! He is such a sweet heart and I love him to death! I had no idea it was coming and it couldn't have been more perfect! It matches my ring amazingly well and I am super excited about it! now on to some icky news I just got word from my Dr. that I will be having surgery on Tuesday to remove some kidney stones and they have caused a big cyst thing in my bladder as well so they have to slice that out..... = ( yuck! the good news about it is I will feel better soon! And I am so glad this is something they can fix. I can't wait to be up and going back to my full energetic self i once was. I have been sick for a looooonnnng time! My poor kids and husband have suffered the most because of it, i am have constant back pain for the last couple of months and other issues along with it and being just plain exhausted all of the time! Also the Dr. said the cyst has been there for a couple of years so ya those back pains during Allie's pregnancy were not pregnancy induced pains people (dr. people i mean)!!! but there is light at the end of the tunnel and I am excited about it! Thank goodness my parents and especially my Mom have been here helping me with so much!!! so here are the pic's and hopefully before too long i will be good as new! yay!

I love the beginning of fall, the weather is perfect temperature and there is just something about the smell in the fall air, its coming fall colors and leaves falling and change of season and the beginning of so many of my favorite holiday's especially Halloween. Today we picked raspberries in a berry patch in Mapleton and ohhhhh boy they are so yummie! I love fresh fruit there is nothing like it. Anyway yay for fall and also if anyone needs or wants family pictures done call or email me i would love to do them for you!!! Tell all of your friends and family!

Today i realized i am more attached to my little buddy than i thought... lol wow i know right! Yesterday Grandma gave Trevor a new backpack for school and he has not taken it off since, he has been so excited for school! This morning when we went he suddenly got shy and wasn't so sure of what to think. He easily got distracted with some toys and that was my Que to leave ohhhh.... and it was cute because allie didn't want to leave Trevor she was crying and said "my Trevor! mama my Trevor!" so we went shopping and then she was ok! lol! when i picked him up he was waiting on the porch and yelling "ohhh there's my mom!!!" he said "Mom i had school, and i am a pirate! and i got papers in my backpack!" He is such an awesome kid he told me he got a cupcake and sang the ABC song and he was really excited about all his papers that were in his back pack. He is such an awesome kid and we are so excited for him! I love my little buddy!

Just a few pic's lately, Allie loves to look at books and she is so cute about it she reads them out loud with her little gibber gabber it sounds like Chinese, i love hearing her little voice, and i love that she is having a good time. the other day cousin bear bear came over to play and the kids sat in bins and played for a bit and they had a lot more fun in the bins for some reason. Gotta love it when something so simple keeps them so entertained! We also got to babysit baby Zoe for a bit and she is doing great and is a really really good little baby. Trevor loves her and will come say hi to her and rub his nose on her head its cute. Allie has to decide if she likes it when i am holding a baby, she likes Zoe but not when mommy has her lol! I love being a stay at home mom and watching all the new discoveries and fun things my kids do. Life is good. =)

last summer trips

This last weekend we got to enjoy a few days up at Bear Lake with the kids, and my sister Julie and her kids. We had so much fun! Trevor loved swimming, swimming, and swimming and he loves our new little camper trailer, I love it too. =) The first night we had what jake thinks about 5 racoons around buggin us so Jacob was shooting them with a sling shot which was entertaining, then we got back to bed and the wind kicked up and our awning crashed on the top of the trailer giving us all heart attacks, so after the first restless night we were able to relax the rest of the time. Allie loved having s'mores by the campfire and sitting in my lap which is why i was not able to take that many pic's. Bear lake is a beautiful place and i hope to go there every summer!

The weekend before bear lake we went to Yuba lake to give our new tent trailer a test run, and we had much needed family time together and it was a quick trip but a lot of fun.

What can I say about my sweet baby girl? She is so fun, full of life and energy these days! She makes me laugh, and smile every day! Every morning when she wakes up she will cuddle with me for a good 10 minutes before we get going for the day, and I love that time cuddling with my baby! She is saying so many new words every day and can talk really clearly now it is stinking cute! She loves her brother Trevor and whenever he is out of site she says "where's trevor? where go?" She also loves playing with Daddy and sharing food with him. She is our little bottomless pit and will eat just about anything which is nice and i hope it lasts because having a picky eater is no fun. She loves to share food too whenever Daddy or I have any food she comes for a bite and grabs a spoon out of the drawer and comes running for food. She likes to look at books and she is starting to play with dolls a lot more and she just loves being the center of attention! She has the cutest little run when she is running away from a game of I'm gonna get you and she is super happy! She takes good naps and sleeps well at night. She has a very sensitive spirit and is very aware of how others are feeling she always makes me happy when i am down or bummed and she is always worried about how everyone is feeling, she is happy when everyone is. She is one special little girl and i feel so blessed to be her mommy and have her as part of our family! We love you little Gooch!

the weather here in Utah has been weird we keep getting these random rain storms and they are happening all of the time, its hard to go have fun when it keeps on raining.... anywho we went for a walk to bridal veil falls this morning and Julie and her kiddos joined, it was good to get out and do something while we could. i have had a rough week i have been feeling so blah and down and just plain depressed. i don't know why i have no reason to be but sometimes i am just feeling that way, its the way my head works i guess. after church today i was looking at my cute allie and thinking she is so cute and so happy and so full of life so i grabbed my camera and just sat and watched her pull so many different faces, i wonder what she is thinking, and she made me smile and remember that i have so much to be happy about and feel good about. and i remember if i didn't have the bad days i wouldn't appreciate the good ones. this is one of those simple moments in life that saved me from another long day. =)

Happy Father's Day to the love of my life Jacob, he is such a fun, loving, hard working, patient dad and our kids are so lucky to have such an amazing dadio! I took this picture last year and it is one of my favorites of Jacob and the kids so here you go.

And a special happy fathers day to my Dad he is the best dad ever, and i love him sooooo much!!! One of my best memories of my dad from my childhood is when he would be laying on the couch turn off all of the lights and blast music and we would all dance and have fun together, i have such a cool dad! I have a ton of memories of him showing me how to play softball, and basketball, and going hiking at moab, and going camping, boating and four wheeling. Dad you are awesome and we love you tons!!!

We went camping for the weekend, and it was a ton of fun! Julie's family came up last minute and we loved having them join the fun! We had some classic moments like Trevor randomly pulling down his pants and going pee anywhere and everywhere, and Allie's shoes got all wet so she was in her socks most of the time, and the fun of sleeping next to a 3 year old and a one and a half year old or i should say not getting sleep is what really happened, kicking, wiggling, talking and giggling. Lucy the dog did great she slept in the tent with us and kept us all warm by sleeping on my feet and on the kids. All in all it was a lot of fun and we are so lucky to have places so nearby to go camping!

We have been enjoying our summer sun as much as possible, it has been a long wait for some good weather. I loved this of Trevor in his cowboy hat, the best part is he has some bright pink cow-GIRL boots on haha! Keslie gave them to us for Allie but they are too big for her and fit Trevor and he is always putting them on, he loves them! he is so funny!

this is a sample of what our day is like, usually something on the face in this case chocolate something and messy hair after a nap, and Allie finds some headband and puts it in her hair. She is stinkin cute!

this is our family home evening activity and i recommend it to all, we got the pool noodles and the dollar store cut them in half and it made a perfect marble track, total cost $5.00!! it was $2.00 for noodles and $3.00 for marbles. yay! and it was a hit!

Our weather here in Utah has been very wet for the month of April and May and we needed to get out and see some sun for a day or two. So we decided to go south and check out Sand Hollow state park and stopped through Zion National Park on the way back. Jake's Mom was nice enough to take us and so we all went with the kids Jake's sister Kim, brother Johnny and his wife Nicole. It was an adventure to say the least, the kids had fun playing at the beach in the sun...oh how i missed the sunshine, and we went on a couple of short trails in Zion and that was also fun, the kids did great running around and having a good time. I liked sand hollow it was really pretty we haven't been there before so it was fun to explore a new place, i didn't like the beach only because it had these crazy annoying spiky poky bushes everywhere, i think it was because the water was so high though so maybe later in the year it won't be so bad. The water was like 61 degrees so very brisk but refreshing and Trevor was wet all day by the end of the day he was shaking b/c he was so cold, but he didn't want to get dry or leave because he was having so much fun! Silly kid. And Zion was awesome we haven't been since i was 6 months pregnant with Trevor, so i liked going back and walking around, it is so pretty and warm there! As always after these trips i always wish i took more pic's but here are a few, and i keep forgetting my camera does video so i did just a couple short ones and I'm obviously not used to video so sorry they are crappy. Any who we are back in the rain and grey.....boo

temple square adventures

i have been wanting to go up to temple square for a few weeks now to check out the flowers and so we went yesterday and it was a lot of fun, I am so glad we went. Trevor kept saying oh thats the temple and in the visitor center he pointed to a picture of thomas s monson and said : "that's Thomas s Monson mom!" he was so excited about it, I think the kids really loved walking around and exploring, it was nice and fun, and we loved it. I am so grateful for temples and so grateful to be in utah where we are surrounded by them, i need to go more often!

Below i wanted a picture of my kids in front of the temple and i knew it would be tricky with such wiggly curious kiddos, so jake put them on there and i snapped away as many as i could before trevor ran away. Well i looked at them and noticed how trevor was holding his pee pee well that won't work will it haha! so by the time i checked the photo trevor was half way down the field so i couldn't do a redo only because trevor would not have been a happy camper, so i decided to give photoshop a try.

so this camera came yesterday and i am soooooo EXCITED!!!! ah it is such an amazing camera and i have been waiting to get one for sooooo long, i can't wait to get out and use the crap out of it!!! that's what is going on with me, my complete excitement of being able to take my hobby to the next level yay!!! and anyone who wants their pic's done i need guinea pigs and would love to bug you with my new toy!

and this cool kid is pretty much potty trained finally, we are still working on it but day by day he is getting better at it! Love you Trevor!!

During conference weekend we went with grandpa and grandma wright shooting and four wheeling. We went to visit my parents in Arizona over the weekend and it was so relaxing and nice to visit and spend time together. My parents live right on a golf course and trevor loved walking around looking for golf balls with grandpa, and Lucy lu loved playing with good old Wylie. We went to a park that had tigers and that was really neat to see the tigers so close, they are huge animals! i think allie really liked it, and trevor was more interested in driving his motorcycle in the dirt, silly kid. It was just nice to enjoy warm weather and let the kids play outside, it was great!

and last but not least meet Jerry the dog. before we got lucy the discussion about getting a dog came up because Jake's dad's dog had puppies, well jacob really wanted one, and i always wanted to get a collie one day, so we got a collie because we were lucky to find a pure bred one and soon we will have jacob's dog join the family he wants to name it jerry. she is cute.

Last Saturday we went to skyline Utah for the snow kite extravaganza! haha i don't know what this event was called but apparently it was a big deal, people from all over the world come here to kite on this weekend. So I went with Jacob so have a relaxing day taking pic's and hangin out watching my hot babe do his thing. Thanks to Grandma Wright for babysitting all day so i could go watch! These pictures really do not do it justice, but how do i get a good pic with Jake and the kite all in one shot when the kite is 90 feet away from him? anyway he had a blast caught some good air did some cool tricks and it was fun!!

This year so far has been really tough. We have all been sick off and on, and it seems poor Allie keeps getting super sick, so we haven't been up to a whole lot lately. Just enjoying our new pup, my parents came for a visit so that was nice to have them here, and mostly just been hangin at home. This is what jacob decided to do with the kids the other day it was so funny i remember doing this as a kid in our sleeping bags and crashing at the bottom of the stairs. Funny thing is we were kids when we did that so it didn't hurt, so i knew jacob would quickly realize this might be a painful game. But he was smart and put pillows under him so it wouldn't hurt. Nice one babe! Anyway as you can see the kids loved it and i didn't want to watch because i knew someone would get hurt, but i decided to grab a shot and i am so glad that i did! oh and no one got hurt. =) Jake you are such an awesome dad!!

I can't believe Trevor is already 3! He is such a fun, smart kid and we love that kid! All he wanted for his birthday was a cake and candles and to go swimming. So we took him to the indoor pool in Lehi, which if you haven't been there I highly reccommend. Since it was indoor my camera lens kept fogging up so i didn't get many pic's. and because i was busy swimming with the kiddos. After fun at the pool we had all of our family over for cake and ice cream. Trevor loved his cake and was begging all day long to eat it. Thanks to my sister Jenny for making it! It was perfect!!! Well Trevor loves, cars, airplanes, trains and anything with wheels. He is very smart and has started learning to trace shapes and letters. He loves to color with markers, play with play doh, read books and his favorite movie as of late has been how to train your dragon. He always says sweet things to Allie and I today he said "Allie's so flippin cute" he is so fun we love you trev!!

I can't belive it! I got not only one but like 3 great pictures of my toddler smiling and looking at me!!! It's a miracle! Oh my little Trevor he is so cute, today we got out some molding sand stuff to play in and it was a hit. I knew it was a big risk letting Allie play in it because for sure it would not stay in the designated area with her help, so she only got to make a huge mess for a minute and then had a nap. trevor on the other hand was entertained for almost two hours, he loves dirt, sand and anything he can drive his trucks through. So it was well worth the mess to get one super HAPPY kiddo! It definitely made my day!

First of all hope ya had a happy birfday Kat poo. We had a little get together on Sunday and had dinner and yummie cupcakes and fun! I have been trying to get used to manuel mode on my camera, I usually have it on apeture mode and i need to get out of that and into manual. So these pictures I used no flash that is why the color is weird and uh what happened with my candle pictures? why does Kat have the reflection on her head? I am still learning so any tips appreciated! I will be calling you Dad because I am confused. Anyway this picture below is what my sisters are normally like on a daily basis we are missing Julie, but don't worry she would be pulling some face too.

I did learn a lot about my camera just messing around with my white balance, iso, and shutter speed, and aperture, so this was good. I learned its not that scary to try and just figure it out and that i need practice, practice, practice! Also today was one of those really looooonggg days, Allie has been sick for pretty much the entire winter she has come out with 4 new teeth so im sure that has something to do with it, and now she has a cough and runny nose that is constantly running the poor little gooch. Trevor i have tried to potty train the last couple of days and wow is all i can say about it. he doesn't care so i have had a ton of messes to clean up from that so i am thinking to try again in a couple of weeks. I struggle in the winter I need color, sun, warmth, i need Hawaii!!!! hmmmmmm....

It's been an interesting year so far. We have been a bit stir crazy now that we haven't had the crazy holiday's going on. The other day we went to the mall to walk around and went into tai pan and they had the wax smelly things for the hot melt plates out and i let trevor smell some of them and he was loving smelling all these yummie smells who knew that could be so exciting!? So we ended up purchasing a "smell goods" and trevor carried it around for two days! seriously he loves the thing. He would say hey where's my smelly's? So funny. Another thing that day he said that made me laugh we were looking at some stickers and we came across one of a trophie and he said whats that mom? i said its a trophie can you say that and he said no mom its not a tropie its a piston cup! Well okay buddy! He is so dang funny, we love our buddy. Anyway nothing too exciting has been happening around here, just some good times playing around.

We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! We sure did! Santa came to our house and the kids loved it. Allie went straight for her new princess chair and sat it in almost the whole time. After they got some toys in their stockings they were done! Trevor got some cars and Allie got balls and they didn't want to open the rest, crazy kids! haha but they did and we had a great time! So thank you everyone for the gifts we loved them all!

We live in a nice new area with a cool park near by but we have no hills within walking distance for sledding so the Wright family uses the four wheeler. It took forever to get the kids in their snow clothes! Allie looked like a mini lumber jack and trevor was loving Jake's goggles! Grandma and Grandpa Wright came over to watch the fun and hang out. Trevor and Allie liked it for the most part, but then Allie started crying so she was done. But they looked cute, had fun and they have such a fun Daddy!!

we have had an awesome December so far! First of all my parents came for a visit and it was so fun having them here! I miss them all of the time, and it is good for Trevor and Allie to get to know and see their grandparents. we were able to go to temple square and rode the tracks to get there and Trevor thought that was so cool. We were able to go to my nephew Kyler's baptism and go to the Manti temple for Johnny and Nicole's sealing. those were both awesome experiences. Last night was Jacob's family Christmas party and Santa came to talk to the kids. Allie freaked out and screamed and cried and Trevor wasn't too sure with what was going on. All and all it was a lot of fun and I am getting super excited for Christmas this year! Also just a lot of random pic's of the kiddos.

we haven't been doing a whole lot lately, the weather this last week has been so amazing and warm so we have been spending a lot of our time outdoors. trevor is a goofball as you can see in this picture below, these are some of his alphabet stickers on his glasses.

then for today's art project we made crowns with random feathers and whatever i had on hand, it was fun. Trevor love, love, loves to color! He is so cute and funny. We haven't been up to too much lately, we did have a fun Halloween party with our friends last weekend and Jacob and I dressed up as Fred and Wilma, sadly I didn't get a picture, I know what in the world was my problem. I don't know. and now i am sad about it. All I can say is my hair was amazing because Julie did it and Jacob looked good with black hair... fun times. Anyway we had fun throwing a party and are now looking forward to this weekends fun stuff for the kiddos!

Slumber Party for the girls! Keslie was sleeping over and Allie went into her room and crawled right in Keslie's bed with her. So cute. They were giggling and laughing a while later, fun times.

I caught Allie making a mess whats new, she was being so cute and funny we had to take a picture. so dang cute!

We went to a pumpkin patch with Julie and Cole and the kids had fun running around and looking at the animals and pumpkins.

First of all I just had to show ya this cool Halloween metal sign Jacob made me. Isn't it cool! If you want one let me know. ;) So on Friday I wanted to make these cute ghostie paint things I found the idea here: http://thecraftingchicks.com/page/3 and they turned out super cute, I only forgot to take a picture of the finished project so i will have to do that tomorrow. Anyway during the process I made sure to cover the table and strip down the kiddos to protect paint from getting everywhere, but I didn't cover the chair. I need to scrub the purple and green chair now, but Trevor had tons of fun painting everywhere and all over himself. Allie wasn't sure what was going on so she just ate the paint bottle. Fun times, I love my kiddos!

Sidewalk chalk

Who knew sidewalk chalk could be so much fun!? I didn't realize the fun of it because I haven't bought any for Trevor before, and then we just went to Arizona to visit my parents this last weekend (pictures coming soon.) and they bought chalk. Well we didn't break it out until we got home and Trevor played with it almost all day he colored everything the sidewalks, our screen door, his face and his feet. Oh Trevor what would I do without you! He is too cute and funny!

We kinda had a weird weekend, we were all feeling kinda sick and Jacob and I were feeling restless and sick. We were itching to go somewhere so we went to the zoo on Saturday and came home feeling completely wiped out, and so on Sunday we were total bums and Jacob built a fun fort for the kids and then we watched movies in the fort. Trevor loved it and Allie liked playing peek a boo with it. Anyway the zoo was fun Trevor liked the monkeys and the snakes the best, and i think Allie liked the big marble ball with water running over it the best. Lisa and her roommate came with us so it was fun to hang out with auntie seesa we went to eat pizza and had a good time.

Grotto at Payson

Today was such a fun crazy day. We ran some errands and then I started some Halloween projects, and Julie came over and hung out with us and then we went up the payson canyon and hiked the grotto. It was so beautiful up there! I am sooo grateful for the beautiful fall colors I love this time of year!!!

i have been wanting to make a cute onesie for Allie for a while now and what better time than now because Halloween is my favorite holiday and so i just had to make something cute for my baby girl to wear during the season. i love how it turned out now i just need to make a matching bow!!! i know I'm a freak! if you wanna make one let me know i can send you some cute templates i have found. happy Halloween! meow!
